AirSnap is so slow its unusable

I purchased this app specifically for the AirSnap functionality and its so slow that I cant even use it. It takes 5-10 seconds for the screen to update on the other device and tapping the capture button has a 5 second shutter delay. Im better off just using a timer or asking someone else to take the photo.
